Geerings go red for heart disease fundraiser

The team at Geerings’ head office in Ashford took part in a national fundraising event for the British Heart Foundation earlier this month. Staff wore red for the BHF ‘Wear It. Beat It’ day and raised a fantastic £176 to help the fight against heart disease.

The British Heart Foundation is one of the charities Geerings are focussing their fundraising efforts on for 2014-15. Other events planned for this year include a 100K cycle and a 10K run.

The BHF have pioneered research for over 50 years, transforming the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions. Coronary heart disease is the UK’s single biggest killer and every pound raised can make a difference. Visit http://bhf.org.uk for more fundraising ideas.
